You know something, there comes once in awhile, when a new song played on air and immediately it somehow describes your feelings, your mood, and all with all the right basses, trebles, drums and stuff quite perfectly. Although you are not really in love but somehow the song stirs you in that direction or at least makes you feel like you are in love.

Then you began to wonder, why is this song special, why does it reminds you of the something in the past, awakens you to some emotions you really dont care… well when you are dealing with emotions, logic and rationality do not actually have anything to do with it. In fact, emotional response regularly defies logical or rational deductions.

The fact that love has nothing to do with reality of life and has everything to do with those of abstract and enigmatic feeling is quite amazing. In short, one falls in love because one does so. Mmm dont get me wrong here… I’m not walking the mushy mushy road here… just relating to the fact that The Reason by Hoobastank as of now describes me more or less…

Anyway, the reason I love the song so much is because it is The Reason for me to do so… doesnt make much sense huh? So is life but we live it! ‘Nuff said…

For yours truly, tomorrow will be an extremely special day since tomorrow also will be the the Holy Prophet’s (p.b.u.h.) too. Hence, I will be waking up at 5.00 a.m. to get myself ready and be at Shah Alam for the Maulidur Rasul parade by 6.45 a.m. Hmm… this will be my first… and I hope it will be interesting too.

This time I am going prepared… no more "ooh that was a great scene, damn I didn’t bring along my camera". Hehehe… I hope to post those pics here by tomorrow evening, insya Allah. Although I wished I was going to the national level’s celebration but then again, being able to go to one is already superb.

Huzzah! I finally made up my mind to kick the cigarette butt to oblivion. I’m in the 3rd week of inhaling oxygen without the extra smoky stuff inhaled into my oh-so-tender lungs. However, I still joyfully inhale the other extras modern day life has to offer breathing-wise such as ‘asap lori, kereta, motorsikal’. Hmmm…

Anyway, the tobacco industry has lost one of its victims only to be taken up by others. I’ll say, the RM7.00 price tag does not really put up much a resistance to battered lung owners but do actually make newbies taking up the toxin-inducing hobby think not twice but seven times.

The hard core smokers just say aiyohh mahalnya dan tak adil and yada yada yada… next you’ll see these jokers happily puffing their hard earned cash to literally ash. But I must say apart from getting extra RM7.00 per 2 days, my appetite seems to be on overdrive. That’s why I’m taking up jogging. My taste buds now are very sensitive that I still can taste last week’s tongkat ali coffee… gross!

I’ve been smoking for about 10 years… maybe.. less or more. But smoking for me is something enjoyed over a company of friends or on joyous occassions. The new place I work at is to say the least challenging and smoking only leave my tongue all bitter… yuck! Strange but true… I smoke less when I am alone or down in the dumps but can actually polish off a pack of 20 cig butts in one night.

It all depends on my mood. Now my mood is all grumpy, I finally have the reason to toss the smokey habit into the dustbin. Thank God I am not addicted… really funny but nevertheless helpful for me. I really must congratulate the cigarette industry for mixing a cocktail of poisons and changing them every once in awhile.

Dont lie to me… I knew you guys been doing that. You see, every year, I usually change brands because suddenly the brand I was smoking became terribly bitter or taste awful that makes you wanna puke or even taste like burnt paper to me. I think I changed at least 7-8 brands of cigarette. And I was running out of brands until I changed jobs… great!

But to most people, smoking can and will be addictive so better not take up the nasty habit. Take it from a former smokey… it aint worth it!
